Cities shape a sustainable future

In 2015, 193 countries in the UN General Assembly voted to adopt the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Helsinki’s success rate in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals varies: some goals have already been achieved, while others require more intense efforts. The Review on this website examines the realisation of sustainability in Helsinki during the 2021–2025 council period of office through four main themes: ecological, social, economic and cultural sustainability.
